Participation in Kolajfest 2026 in New Orleans, LA. This included a presentation titled "Collage on a Continuum of Pedagogy and Practice" and work included in 2 juried exhibitions: Bird on a Wire at LeMieux Gallery and Light Cut on Paper: Photography and Collage at the New Orleans Photo Alliance.
Two mixed media pieces were included in Shimmer: Vibrant Art/Science of New Mexico, a juried exhibition (Andrea Polli, Curator) at St. John's College, Santa Fe, NM.
Beyond Dada: Indigenous Reclamation through Contemporary American Collage is the title of a co-authored (with Olivia Perea) essay that will be included in the upcoming anthology Why Collage? Anthropology and Art in a Fragmented World, published by Routledge.
A fall 2026 sabbatical from full-time teaching at Fort Lewis College will allow me to focus on my creative research agenda, including a solo exhibition and residency. September will be spent at the Buinho Creative Residency Program in Messejana, Portugal. Stay tuned for exhibition announcements...
